Here’s a rarity: a blog about something productive. The irony is that I meant to post this last week but got distracted by my Christmas decorating. Nevertheless, here are some canvasses that I’ve painted as gifts for friends over the past few months. Home-made presents are the best because they’re cheap, personal and fun to make. The thumbnails are click-able.

This one was a birthday present for my friend, Eilidh.

A close-up of the snail because I think it’s the best part. I must admit I was impressed with my own painting skills here, since they’re usually pretty haphazard.

Annabel’s canvas. The lobster has googly eyes!

This was a Valentine’s present for Tom, and I think it shows his personality in all its geeky glory.
P.S - I’ve updated things! My ‘About’ section has changed a bit and I’ve also added magnetic poetry, which still needs some tweaking.
