Firstly, if you’re one of those odd people who’s scared of clowns, I apologise for any trauma caused by this blog.
My family have just returned from Spain, and I’m blogging, which means I survived the week alone! I’ve crossed a few things off my list of summer plans on the previous blog, and have pictures to prove it. The first, and perhaps most entertaining, occurred after a night of video games (Warioware is genius) when we got our faces painted in aid of Annabel’s freaky art project on clowns.

This is me - I think the eyebrows are a good look…

Tom is a creep without face paint anyway, and Lewis and Eilidh would look cute if he wasn’t the Joker.

We terrified each other with our permanent smiles…and exclamations of “OH MY GOD it won’t come off” a few hours later. But, on a lighter note, here are some lovely cakes that we baked on Saturday:

Okay, so it was a frankly futile attempt at cake decorating, but they tasted deee-lllicious! Plus, they were pink and orange! More pictures of such haphazard escapades are to come…

I must admit, I do find clowns to be a bit creepy. lol. However, I do enjoy the talk of baked goods though!
